Terms of Service
Last updated: June 6, 2026
By creating an account or using MAC QR Generator ("the service"), you agree to these terms. The service is provided by MAC Internet Services.
1. Your account
- You must provide a working email and keep your password confidential.
- You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- One person per account; do not share credentials.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Distribute malware, phishing links, or content that violates law.
- Encode QR redirects that point at fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful destinations.
- Upload PDFs containing illegal, infringing, or sexually-explicit material involving minors.
- Attempt to break, probe, or rate-limit-bypass the service.
- Resell or sublicense generated QR codes as part of a competing service without permission.
We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules. We may comply with lawful requests from law enforcement.
3. Plans + billing
- The Free plan is free.
- Tracking / Pro / Unlimited plans bill monthly or annually via Stripe.
- You can cancel at any time from the Billing page; access continues to the end of the current billing period.
- We do not offer refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
- Prices may change with 30 days' notice for existing paid subscribers.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to the content you create (QR codes, URLs, PDFs, vCard data). You grant us a limited license only to store, transmit, and render that content as part of running the service. We do not claim ownership.
5. Service availability
We do our best to keep the service available 24/7 but make no uptime guarantee. We may take the service offline for maintenance, will try to give notice for planned work, and aren't liable for downtime, data loss, or lost business resulting from outages.
6. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may terminate your account for violations of these terms with notice except where immediate termination is needed to protect users or comply with law.
7. Disclaimer + liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, MAC Internet Services is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles.
9. Changes
We may revise these terms. If we materially change them we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and notify active users by email.
